The first "something" is often the most innocent and special and this is certainly the case with the debut album, RIVER OF STONE. Christopher had the idea to deconstruct "High Noon" and played it for Jeff and the album pretty much wrote itself backwards from there.
Christopher and Jeff actually enjoyed the process of working together long distance and with their second album, ON THE BRIDGE, they hit their stride creatively. There was some commercial radio success with a few songs, but the album's character alternates between darkness and light.
MIGRATION was the last album, it turns out, for almost 15 years. In emotion, it is quite similar to the previous release ON THE BRIDGE. Its title refers to both a major transition Christopher's life, and in a more general sense to the ever changing nature of things.
A DIFFERENT PLACE, A DIFFERENT TIME is a collection of mostly previously released songs, many of which have new mixes as well as two never released pieces. We are recording again and this album is all about new beginnings, while revisiting the past and looking forward into the future.
Synesthesia, Synesthesia is the latest manifestation of a long standing relationship. Connected over time and distance by a shared sensibility, we have created music intended to evoke a response unique to each listener.
